Early Childhood - Introduction

early childhood pic.jpg

This module explores the physical, cognitive and emotional changes that occur between birth and age of five. We firstly look at the development of 'gross' and 'fine' motor skills. We then look at brain changes, memory, language, and emotional development in early childhood. This key stage of development will also be the focus of  the course, when we explore attachment theory and other aspects of social and emotional development that occur during infancy and have significant implications across the lifespan.

Enjoy!
